Hello! My name is Robin and I am the owner and operator of Songbird Child Care in Vail, AZ. My in-home daycare is for children aged 6 weeks to 2 years old. At Songbird Child Care, I treat each child as one of my own. I provide a safe, clean, and engaging environment for your child to sleep, eat, grow, and develop. Care is structured, while still being personalized to meet each child's individual needs.
Services and items included:
Diapering
- Disposable diapers and wipes.
Feeding
- Bibs and age appropriate eating utensils.
- For children that have transitioned to eating solids, I will provide baby food, rice cereal, and nutritionally-balanced snacks. If your child is just starting to transition to solid food, I will work with you to set up a feeding plan.
Play and Learning
Toys
- Age-appropriate toys provided, targeting cognitive and fine motor development, gross motor skills, social/emotional development, and language development. Toys are rotated regularly to promote deeper engagement and to avoid over-stimulation.
Books and Story Time
- To assist with cognitive and language development, story time occurs daily. Board books and soft books are rotated regularly to keep your child interested and engaged.
Art and Sensory Development Activities
- To help your child explore their creativity and become more comfortable with themselves and their surroundings, age-appropriate activities are provided regularly.
Sleep
- Clean crib sheets and blankets
*Blankets are not used in crib until child reaches one year of age.
Communication
- Parents are provided daily reports via smartphone/tablet/internet through the Brightwheel app. These reports include information on diaper changes, feedings, and naps. Daily photos are also provided through the Brightwheel app.
Small ratio
- Songbird Child Care has a small ratio in order to provide great care and individual attention, as well as to reduce germ related illnesses and undesired behaviors.
